The Amazon Influencer Program, Explained
What the program is, how creators actually earn, and whether it's right for you.
What the Amazon Influencer Program is
The Amazon Influencer Program is an extension of Amazon Associates built for creators who film short product review videos. Approved influencers get a dedicated storefront on Amazon.com and can upload on-site review videos that appear directly on product detail pages. Every purchase made through your videos or storefront pays a commission — typically between 1% and 10% depending on the product category.
How influencers actually make money
There are three earning surfaces: (1) commissions on your storefront, (2) commissions on videos that Amazon places on product pages, and (3) bounties for driving Prime signups and other Amazon services. The bulk of most influencers' income comes from on-site review videos, because they appear to shoppers who are already ready to buy.
A realistic income timeline
New influencers typically upload 30–60 videos before seeing steady daily earnings. Videos compound — once a video is live on a product page it can earn for months or years. Expect three to six months of consistent uploads before commissions become meaningful. This course is built around that timeline.
Who this course is for
You do not need a huge following. You need a qualifying social profile, the ability to film simple product videos on a phone, and the patience to publish consistently. If that describes you, keep going.
