Content and Posting Strategy
The posting cadence and content formats that get approved and get views.
Post types that signal a good influencer applicant
Amazon wants to see that you can talk about products on camera. The four formats that work: (1) short unboxings, (2) "three things I love about this" reviews, (3) side-by-side comparisons, and (4) problem-solution posts ("if you struggle with X, this fixed it"). Rotate through all four.
Weekly posting cadence
Aim for three to five short-form posts per week for at least four weeks before applying. Consistency matters more than volume — Amazon is checking whether you'll keep posting after approval.
A video script template that converts
Use this structure for every review: Hook (2 seconds — the problem or the reveal), Product (3 seconds — what it is), Proof (10–20 seconds — how you use it, close-up shots), Verdict (3 seconds — who it's for). Total runtime 20–45 seconds. Keep it vertical, well-lit, and shoot in your actual home.
Hashtags, captions, and covers
Use three to five niche hashtags, not thirty. Write a caption that names the product and one specific benefit. On TikTok and Reels, add a plain-text cover with the product name — the algorithm reads it and viewers scan it.
What NOT to post before applying
Avoid reposted content, watermarked videos from other creators, purely aesthetic posts with no product, or content that violates the platform's community guidelines. Amazon reviewers will scroll your recent grid.
